Ready to step into the life of a UCD student?
Ready to step into the
life of a UCD student?

With block scheduled classes in part-time study mode, you only need to attend two weeks of classroom lessons, in a semester of 12 weeks. This means you can plan your time for pre-reading, assignments and projects, around your commitments.

In full-time study mode, each term is a 13-week period covering 2 modules. Each module is provided with 42 hours of academic induction/seminar sessions during day time on weekdays.

This pathway is designed, in the context of large bodies of data, to provide a set of analytical methods of problem solving that aid decision making. It provides students with the key analytical knowledge and theory as well as a strong grounding in the management disciplines, including strategy, marketing and operations management.

This pathway is designed to introduce students to contemporary information systems and demonstrate how these systems are used throughout global organisations. The focus of this Degree will be on the key components of information systems – people, software, hardware, data, and communication technologies, and how these components can be integrated and managed to create competitive advantage in the current business environment. This discipline is key across all business functions and also provides students with the necessary insights in the key business functional areas of management, strategy, marketing, people management and operations management.
